Terra Aquatica pH-
The Downward
Shift.
Not just an acid. A premium blend of Nitric, Phosphoric, and Citric acids. It lowers pH while feeding your plants and cleaning your system.
A Tale of Two Reservoirs
High pH locks out nutrients. pH- brings it back into the "Goldilocks Zone" where roots can feast.
Alkaline Lockout
Iron Deficiency
Above pH 7.0, Iron becomes insoluble. Leaves turn yellow while veins stay green (Chlorosis), stunting growth.
Scale Buildup
Calcium carbonate precipitates out of hard water, clogging drippers and leaving white crusts on your pots.
With pH-
Nutrient Unlock
Bringing pH down to 5.5 - 6.5 instantly makes all micro-nutrients available again. Plants green up within hours.
Stable Buffer
Citric acid acts as an organic buffer, preventing the pH from bouncing back up quickly, unlike cheap acids.
Beyond Adjustment
This is a utility tool. Use it to clean, feed, and balance.
Hard Water
The Issue: High pH.
Tap water often comes out at pH 7.5+. pH- neutralizes the carbonates, making it suitable for plants.
Foliar Cleaner
The Use: Residue Removal.
Use very dilute (1ml/10L) to clean leaves after spraying insecticides, removing sticky residue.
Nutrient Source
The Gain: N-P Boost.
Nitric acid provides Nitrogen (Veg), Phosphoric acid provides Phosphorus (Bloom). It feeds while it works.
System Cleaner
The Fix: Descaling.
Run a strong dose through empty lines to dissolve salt buildup and calcium scale from pumps and drippers.
The "Smart" Acid
Most pH downs use just Phosphoric acid (which can cause algae) or Nitric acid (which is unstable). Terra Aquatica pH- uses both, plus Citric acid.
Balanced Chemistry
The mix ensures your N/K ratios aren't disturbed during growth or bloom, and leaves no residue in your tank.
Organic Buffer
The organic citric acid component helps chelate elements and buffer the solution, making the pH stable for longer periods.

Best Practices
Go Slow
Never try to hit your exact pH in one pour. Add a small amount, mix well, wait 15 minutes, measure, and repeat.
Nutrients First
Always add your fertilizers and additives FIRST. They often change pH significantly. Use pH- as the very last step.
Dilute
If adjusting small tanks (under 20L), dilute the pH- in a cup of water first. A drop of pure concentrate changes small volumes drastically.
Control The Balance
Ensure your nutrients remain available and your plants remain strong.
