Terra Aquatica pH+
The Upward
Shift.
More than just a base. A premium pH adjuster enriched with silicate. It safely raises pH levels while adding structural integrity to your plants.
A Tale of Two Reservoirs
pH is the gatekeeper of nutrients. If it drifts too low, the gate locks. pH+ opens it back up, safely.
Acidic Crash
Magnesium Lockout
When pH drops below 5.5, Magnesium becomes unavailable. Leaves yellow between veins despite you adding CalMag.
Root Burn
Highly acidic water dissolves root hairs and slows down transpiration, stalling plant growth.
With pH+
Silicate Armor
Contains silicates that not only raise pH but coat plant cells, protecting them from pests and heat stress.
Buffered Stability
Doesn't just spike pH temporarily; carbonates provide a long-lasting buffer that resists future drops.
When You Need pH+
Typically used in specific situations, as nutrients naturally acidify water over time.
RO Water Users
The Issue: Low pH.
Reverse Osmosis water is often unstable and acidic (pH 5.0). pH+ stabilizes it before you even add nutrients.
Peat Moss
The Issue: Acidity.
Peat-based mixes are naturally acidic. pH+ helps buffer the watering solution to prevent lockout in the soil.
Silica Boost
The Gain: Strength.
Even if pH is fine, small doses can be used as a silica supplement to strengthen stems against wind (cyclones).
Accidental Overdose
The Fix: Correction.
Added too much pH Down? Don't dump the tank. Use pH+ to gently bring it back into range.
Not Just a Base
Generic pH Up is often just Potassium Hydroxide (caustic). Terra Aquatica pH+ blends potassium carbonate with silicate, creating a safer, more stable solution.
Potent & Stable
Raises pH smoothly without the violent swings of harsh caustics. Safe for beneficial bacteria.
Safe Handling
While concentrated, it is formulated to be safer for the grower than industrial bases. (Always wear gloves/glasses).

Best Practices
Go Slow
Never try to hit your exact pH in one pour. Add a small amount, mix well, wait 15 minutes, measure, and repeat.
Nutrients First
Always add your fertilizers and additives FIRST. They often change pH significantly. Use pH+ as the very last step.
Dilute
If adjusting small tanks (under 20L), dilute the pH+ in a cup of water first. A drop of pure concentrate changes small volumes drastically.
Control The Balance
Ensure your nutrients remain available and your plants remain strong.
