Sampling Instructions
Hydroponics
Take a sample directly from the reservoir after pumps have circulated nutrients for 15 mins. Do not test stagnant water. Fill vial halfway.
Soil Slurry Test
Mix 1 part soil from the root zone with 1 part distilled water. Stir, let sit for 15 mins, then filter the liquid into the vial to test the soil's actual pH.
Coco Coir Runoff
Water your plants until 20% drains out the bottom. Collect this runoff in a saucer and test it immediately. This tells you what the roots are experiencing.
