Some lessons can't be
taught from a book.

A living science laboratory where Mauritian children discover, experiment, and grow - in every sense of the word.

Children learning to plant seedlings inside a geodesic dome classroom in Mauritius

There's a moment - every teacher has seen it - when a child's face changes. It happens the first time they hold something they grew.

The Dome Classroom creates that moment

Real learning happens when children do something.

Inside the Dome Classroom, science isn't abstract. Students watch germination happen. They measure growth. They observe ecosystems forming. They ask questions that don't have answers in the back of the book - and they find out for themselves.

This is how the world's best schools teach. And now it's coming to Mauritius.

"Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn."

The Bigger Picture

Mauritius imports 77% of everything we eat. We are one of the most food-dependent nations on Earth. One crisis away from empty shelves.

Rs 23 Billion
Leaves our economy annually for food

The children in school right now will inherit this problem. Shouldn't they know - in their bones - that they can grow food themselves?

A Week in the Dome

From seed to harvest, the curriculum comes alive.

Monday

Small hands press seeds into soil. "How long until it grows?" "Let's find out."

Wednesday

Rulers come out. Numbers go in notebooks. "Mine grew 3 centimeters!"

Thursday

"Why are the leaves yellow?" Research begins. Hypotheses form.

Friday

Watering day. Responsibility. "This one is mine. I'm taking care of it."

Week Six

First harvest. Hands that planted now pick. "Can I take this home?"

Years Later

That child remembers. Not the test, but the moment they created life.

The Complete Programme

Everything a school needs to begin.
